Congratulations to our wrestling team! Coach Cline states, "Historic! What a season, what a tournament. I am truly blessed to be a part of such a special PROGRAM. The rollercoaster of emotions in victory and defeat is what makes our sport so special, it’s pure. To see what our kids do on a daily basis is special to watch, they deserve ALL of the glory and celebration when they achieve their goals. I am beyond proud of my boys, of our community and our wrestling family for showing up to every event and helping this PROGRAM win, it matters! The bar has been raised by such an elite group, I can’t wait for the next one." 2025 State Champions 6 STATE CHAMPIONS Garrett Short Louden Wolfe Madden Edgar Grant Rowe Jason Osgood Kruz Goff 2 STATE RUNNER-UPS Bowdy Thomason Kelby Ingram 1-3rd PLACE Saben Batten 1-4th Place Payton Head Our FIRST 4X STATE CHAMPION Kruz Goff 3A OUTSTANDING WRESTLER Madden Edgar 190.5 Team points for a NEW Class 3A record CHAMPIONSHIP TRADITION 🥇

Dear BPS Parents, As the winter weather forecast indicates potential school disruptions, we want to keep you informed about our backup plans for the upcoming week. In the event of inclement weather, we have three remaining snow days scheduled for this year. If we need to cancel school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, these accumulated snow days will be used. If the school closure extends to Friday, we will transition to a virtual learning day for that day. Our teachers and administrative staff will communicate the virtual day format to students and parents. If you have any questions or concerns about the upcoming weather related schedule adjustments, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the building administrators. Please be safe over the next few days. -- Shawn Haskins Superintendent Blackwell Public Schools 580-363-2570
