Cash Orr spent a week as a Page at the Capitol. It’s one of the best experiences he's had. He was able to talk to Representative Pfieffer about Blackwell FFA Chapter and see firsthand how the political process works in our state. He would encourage anybody who has an interest in politics or just cares about the future of our state to apply for this program next year because it’s an amazing experience.

Congratulations! Evan Lane and Gavin Nelsen. Both have qualified for playoffs in their respective games by placing in the Top 8. I will need them to report to the Middle School so they can compete for their opportunity to make state.
Evan Lane qualified for Chess- April 29th at 12pm
Gavin Nelsen qualified for Rocket League- April 30th at 12pm
Both will play in a double elimination bracket with the top 4 going to state.
Blackwell High School aviation students attended the Northern Oklahoma Aero Day at the Woodring Regional Airport in Enid. The students toured Aircraft Structures International Corp. (ASIC). ASIC specializes in rebuilding the Cessna Caravan. Students were able to talk to representatives from the civilian side of aviation

Blackwell aviation students attended the Oklahoma Air National Guard on April 23rd. The students learned about the many job opportunities associated with the Air Force.
Junior and Senior prom photos will be at 4:30pm at Greenfields. A big thank you to The Greenfield's for hosting this each year.
