BHS has the best teachers!

History comes to life in Blackwell Classroom. Glen Peters spoke to BHS students about his military service in Coach Edgar’s US History class today. Glen is a Vietnam veteran in the US Marine Corps. He is a highly decorated soldier who served as a sniper and was wounded in action in 1969. Thank you for your story and most of all, thank you for your service.

Interior Design kids building a structurally sound tower. After learning about architecture and the history of architecture, the kids had to design a sturdy tower with only spaghetti, tape and yarn. Their towers were designed to stand and hold a marshmallow.





Vocal's Spring Sing is May 2nd.

Prom was a success!






FCS kids were given a mystery recipe to follow. They were to read through the recipe before starting and follow the steps to create a mystery substance. The final product was play dough!



Prom is scheduled to be at the Museum, but Saturday morning a message will be sent out through school message and Nixel to confirm the location. It may be changed to the Auditorium

Congratulations to Tyler Desrosier for placing 2nd in state in Career Investigation, Anthony Wiley for placing 2nd in Leadership, Paige Culver for placing 2nd in Fashion Construction and Chloe Henderson for placing 1st in Promote and Publicize FCCLA. Tyler, Anthony and Chloe will be advancing to FCCLA National Leadership Conference in June in Seattle, WA to compete in their FCCLA STAR Events.




The girls did so well! I’m so proud of all their hard work.
Anna, Breannah, & Denay received Excellent (II) on their solos, as well as the Trio.
Ambrosha and Evelyn received Superior (I) on their solos!
