Interior Design kids building a structurally sound tower. After learning about architecture and the history of architecture, the kids had to design a sturdy tower with only spaghetti, tape and yarn. Their towers were designed to stand and hold a marshmallow.

Congratulations to Tyler Desrosier for placing 2nd in state in Career Investigation, Anthony Wiley for placing 2nd in Leadership, Paige Culver for placing 2nd in Fashion Construction and Chloe Henderson for placing 1st in Promote and Publicize FCCLA. Tyler, Anthony and Chloe will be advancing to FCCLA National Leadership Conference in June in Seattle, WA to compete in their FCCLA STAR Events.

FCS kids were given a mystery recipe to follow. They were to read through the recipe before starting and follow the steps to create a mystery substance. The final product was play dough!

Ambrosha Ellis, Breanna McCurry, Evelyn Mireles, Denay Stewart, and Anna Yinger earned Superior ratings at the OSSAA District Solo & Ensemble contest last month. Each young lady received a Superior on their solo and a Trio comprised of Evelyn, Breannah, and Anna also received a Superior rating. We are headed to State Solo & Ensemble Contest on Thursday, April 18th.
