Welcome to our school.

Dear Parents and Students:

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to Blackwell High School, Home of the Maroons. Although this year presents many new challenges and different methodologies of delivering instruction; BHS is built on academic excellence and a wide variety of extracurricular activities from which to choose. To fully experience the great possibilities of being a Maroon, get involved, it creates spirit, a sense of belonging and pride in BHS. As the principal, I am entrusted with making sure ALL students have the academic foundation, life skills and the ability to meet the demands of our ever-changing world. These high standards will ensure each student is ready for college and/or the workplace. Please feel free to contact any teacher with questions, concerns, or comments regarding your child’s education.

The student handbook is on the school website: www.blackwell.k12.ok.us. Please read and familiarize yourself with the handbook. Everyone should report to first hour on Wednesday August 20, 2020.

Again, I welcome you to what will be an exciting and rewarding school year at Blackwell High School. We all look forward to seeing you the first day of school August 20^th at 8:20 am. Remember; WE ARE BLACKWELL!
