Title VI

Our Vision: To greatly increase the level of achievement of Blackwell’s Native American Students

Our Mission: To effectively tutor, assist and guide
Blackwell Public School's Native American Students to ensure academic success

Title VI is a federal program administered by the Blackwell School District. Its primary goals are increasing the attendance rate as well as their math and reading levels of students of Native American descent. Students need not be enrolled members of a tribe. The only requirement to be included in the Title VI program is that the students have on file a 506 Form completed by their parent or guardian.

You receive this document each year at enrollment.  The benefits for a Title VI student are tutoring or counseling, if needed, and access to all our federal programs.

Parents, if your student is of Native American descent and you want them included in the Title VI program, please feel free to

attend the  Parent Meeting  March 3rd, 2021 at 5:30pm at the Blackwll Board of Education Office and fill out and return the 506 Form to school.
