Linda Grantham and Jerry Harlan Scholarship
The applicants must be graduating this spring from Blackwell and must be attending an accredited college, university or technical school following graduation. The scholarship will be a $500.00 scholarship awarded to two students - preferably one male and one female. Scholarships will be awarded to students who exhibit strong academic performance; involvement in the community; and strong, well-rounded personal character. BILL RIGDON AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Bill Rigdon was a self-taught farmer being the only one in his family to farm. He started as a young boy. He graduated from Blackwell High School with the class of 1959 and furthered his education at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton before returning to Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa.(See Scholarship form at bottom of this page)

The OACEP Opportunity Scholarship is a $1,000 cash award to be issued to the bursar account of the scholarship recipient in two payments-$500 each semester. The individual selected must provide proof of enrollment in at least six credit hours at an accredited Oklahoma post-secondary institution or part-time (half days) at a technology center. Primarily awarded to students who will be pursuing degrees that are science related rather than arts majors. Therefore, some of the majors we will not consider are music, performing arts, English, literature, Psychology, Sociology, Journalism, Business, Pre-law, Political Science, Music, Education or similar majors. In short, we are looking for students who are wanting to make or build things or serve in a health science field.
